I am a former top pro ironman triathlete who has completed 40 iron distance races (winning 13 of those) and learnt a wealth of valuable knowledge over nearly 20 years in the sport which I am now passing on. I have now coached around 200 athletes to reach their goals in this sport and enjoy coaching athletes of all abilities and backgrounds. These range from those taking on their first triathlon at sprint distance, those taking on their first half or full distance ironman, those getting back into fitness after having a baby, top age group athletes who I have helped guide to reach their dreams of World Champ qualification, pro triathletes and everything in between! Whatever your goal or ability I love being a part of your journey to the finish line in the sport I am so very passionate about!
I offer a personal, individualised service of forming training plans around your individual schedule and athletic goals. On top of this I have a wealth of knowledge to guide you through all areas of the sport, be it race day logistics, Swim Bike Run technique, mental strategies, nutrition, injury prevention, pacing.
Please note, I offer only personalised training, no mass produced training plans here. I believe in a sport as challenging as triathlon the last thing you want is athletes blindly following a mass produced training plan and trying to work out what to do when they strike an injury or sickness. This is the main benefit of having a coach, and what you need if you want to make real progress and reach your potential in the sport. My coaching rate is $240 NZD per month
